Inaugurated in 1971, Vinh Nghiem Temple, the largest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City is a blend of modern influence and traditional Japanese and Vietnamese culture.

Vinh Nghiem Pagoda

This is home to a sanctuary and a seven-floor, 40-meter high tower, a contribution of the Buddhists of the Truc Lam zen sect who came from Bac Giang province.

On the first and fifth of lunar months, believers throng the pagoda to pay their respects, make offerings and pray for blessings.
