Wat Bot Manee Si Bunruang | Buddhist Temple | Tak | Western Thailand

Originally, two temples sharing the same wall; Wat Bot Mani Rat and Wat Si Bunrueang, were established in 1857 A.D. On an inspection trip to the Ecclesiastical Province Tak, H.R.H. Prince Vajirayanavarorasa made a remark that it would be great if both temples were combined into a single one and called “Wat Bot Mani Si Bunrueang”. His remark came true and the temple has been know under the current name since 1954.
