Pattaya Floating Market | Traditional Thai Crafts | Thai Food | Pattaya

Pattaya Floating Market is located just past Jomtien on the left side of the Sukhumvit Road. It covers an area of some 23 Rai, and is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, several hotels, radio and television.

The 75 shops in the market offering traditional Thai craftwork, clothing and antiques, which most of them are not floating but build on pillars in the water. Dishes from around the country are on offer.

Some of these are prepared from a small boat. Walkways and shops are both built on pillars in the water. Visitors can travel around the market by a boat in order to see view of the market on the boat.
