The Khlong Tha Dan Dam was completed in 2005. It is 93m high, 2720m long and an incredible 5.5 million cubic meters of concrete, the largest Roller-Compacted Concrete dam in the world.
The dam was designed for irrigation on the Nakon Nayok River. Behind the dam is the reservoir with a small park on the top that you can and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
It is possible to take a boat trip a few km along the reservoir to the stream that feeds it.
