Kaeng Krachan, Thailand largest national park and regarded as one of the most important remaining wildlife habitats is truly a birdwatching must. The park boasts some of the best forest, wildlife and bird viewing opportunities in the country.

With over 400 bird species, the park is home to five species of hornbill: the great, pied, brown, wreathed and plain-poached.

At the higher elevations of the park other delights include the long-tailed broadbill. Kaeng Krachan is also the only place in Thailand where Ratchet-tailed Treepie can be seen, this species normally being found in Southeast Asia.
