Khun Phaen Residence is a complex of 4 Thai style houses that conforms to descriptions in a popular Thai literary work. The complex has a total area of 5 rai, located within the area of the Ayutthaya historical park.

It is a reconstructed traditional teak house which can be found in beautiful parklands with water features and a number of places to sit and enjoy the serenity.

Khun Phaen House at Muang Boran was successfully constructed based on comprehensive research and studies on historical remains especially of the Thai nobles. Many elephants taking tourists round the sights stop here for photos as Wat Phra Ram can be seen in the background.
